At the time of this sighting I was only 8 yrs. old. I was studying in the kitchen when I thought I heard a helicopter flying along the shoreline close to our house. This is not unusual because we lived on the shores of Lake Michigan. I ran down to the top of the lake bank to see what was going on. I saw a copter moving away from me and as I turned to go back I saw another object coming towards me. It was quite dark by now and all I could see was this dark object with a large floodlight coming from the bottom of it. As it came opposite from where I was standing, it stopped, and hovered with no sound, lights or propwash whatsoever!! After about a minute a greenish light appeared towards the rear of the craft and two "things" came into view. This is all I remember until my mother called to me to come in since I had been out there for over two hours!
