Details of Incident:

I was downstairs walking in front of patio doors that lead outside to the backyard. I saw bright blue light flooding in the doors, I went outside to see what and where the light was coming from. When I got outside my eyes followed the light to the top of a tree right outside the door. I couldn't believe my eyes, there was a round saucer shaped UFO hovering above the tree (at the time I didn't know what a UFO was as I was only around 12 years old) It was silver with round different colored lights going around the perimeter of the ship and they were blinking or alternating on and off. They were bright like Christmas tree lights. I can't remember all the colors but I think there was red, yellow, blue and green. The saucer had a rounded peak at the top. I can't remember if there was light coming from the bottom but I think there was. I'm not very good at judging size or feet but I would say it was about 30 or 40 feet wide and the tree was about 25 ft tall, and it was right at the top of the tree. I yelled for my little brother and cousin to come outside "HURRY RIGHT NOW!" They came running out and we all stood there for around, I think ten minutes with our mouths hanging open not saying a word. It seemed to be watching us too. Then it slowly started to float away from us, made a 90 degree turn and shot off extremely fast and disappeared. It made no sound. I told my mother and my aunt when they returned from their trip to the store what we saw. She said ah-ha sure, it's time for you kids to go to bed. I protested but she didn't believe me.

I can't be sure of the time or date but it was a clear summer night, 1973 or 74, at around 9-10PM. I can tell you the exact address and the exact tree but since someone else lives there now I probably shouldn't, but the street was N. Courtland Circle at the top of the hill in Pewaukee Wi.

About a year later, in the day time I saw a triangle plane fly over head from the same backyard. I wonder now if that wasn't one of those stealth planes. I have also heard there is a military base around that area. I don't know why but I can't stop thinking about this lately. I wonder if anyone else saw the UFO that night, it was so close and lit up the area so brightly. I wonder why would a UFO be lit up like a christmas tree, you would think it would want to be a little more stealthy, it was as though it wanted to be seen. Years later I started hearing about abductions and lost time, and now I wonder was it only ten minutes?
