Prior to February of 1967, I had seen many distant sitings of unknown objects in the night sky,
with many other people as well. However; on this particular night in February of 1967, while
on my way home at about midnight, I approached the intersection of Whiting Avenue and Water
Street. As I can to a stop at this intersection and looked to my right I saw a very large
object in the sky just above Whiting Avenue heading my way. As I was stopped, I got out of my
car to get a better look as it appeared to be what I thought was a blimp. It was a cold yet
calm and clear moon-lit night. The object appeared as a typical flying saucer shape, which I
thought was a cleaver way to make a blimp. A smooth metal appearance, round, domed on both the
top and bottom. What initially caught my eye where what I thought were lights around the middle.
As it approached, I estimated it size at about 150' across and about 25' top to bottom. I was
convinced it was a blimp as it moved silently from west to east directly over Whiting avenue.
I then noticed in detail how it was of smooth metal, no rivets, and that the lights were actually
windows which light from inside showed through. It was just above the trees on either side of
the street. Still believing it was a blimp, as it came closer I began to jump up and waved my
arms to try to get these peoples attention for I now also saw people inside through the windows.
I thought this was great, a blimp made to look like a flying saucer carrying people on a
sight-seeing trip. I wanted a ride and was shouting this up to them. It stopped directly over
my head. I was in the middle of the intersection, there was no traffic however as it did stop,
I noticed the lights on my car went out and the street light dimmed. My car stopped running as
well, but I still didn't think this object was anything other than a first class blimp. I
continued to shout to get their attention and wave my arms. The craft then tilted at about a
45 degree angle which lowered the edge of it even closer to me. It couldn't had been more than
25' above me now. I could see clearly inside. At each window sat to pairs of people, there
were about two dozen windows. The craft, always silent, began to rotate slowly so as to give
everyone inside a good look at me. I still thought this was a bunch of rich people out on a
ride. I wanted to join the party I shouted up to them repeatedly as I danced around in the
intersection below. I could see the center where a couple of guys seemed to be at the controls.
They all looked just like normal people to me. Both male and females in matching pant suits.
Some waved back at me, all looked to be amazed. I was still convinced it was a blimp but began
to wounder a bit on how it worked as I heard nothing that sounded like a motor. After what
appeared to me that all aboard had seen enough the craft began to rise just above the tree tops.
It leveled off a bit but still had a slight angle to it. It than darted off sky ward in a flash
without a sound. I than realized that this was no blimp.
September of 1975 at about 11:00PM, I was watching the sky line to the south of our mobile home
at the end of Oaklane Mobile Home Court just east of Stevens Point. My wife was in the bath
getting ready for bed. I saw this very same type of craft slowly proceed down and just above
our trees from east to west. I followed it with my eyes as it passed just before me about 100'
away. It settled silently in the corner of the next field over to the west(about 1500'). I
went to the bathroom door and told my wife that I was going out to look at the spacecraft that
just landed. She had heard me tell her of the one I saw closeup back in 1967. Downing my
jacket and putting on my shoes I than walked over to where I saw it land. It was clear, cool
and a moon lit night. I took no flashlight, didn't even think of a camera, and without fear,
because to actually believe in these things one had to be crazy. I found it easily as a very
bright light came from beneath it. It was identical to the one I saw back in 1967. Along
beside our trailer court was an open tilled field, than a tree line that separated it from the
hayfield it landed in. It was in the far southeast corner of this field. As I approached I
had tilled ground beneath my feet so I was able to walk silently. The trees gave me cover as I
approached. From the trees I was no more than 20' away from the craft. I first noticed an
individual in the lite from the bottom of the craft directly before me. The individual
appeared to have a form fitting white suit on. The eyes were what appeared to be goggles or
protective bubbles of tinted glass or plastic. As I had previously seen these people I figured
they were smart about germs and such and were protecting themselves with these suits. I say
these as I than notice another one was no more than 6' from me to my right. I was a bit
startled as I did notice him there as I approached. My attention returned to the one in the
lite as he was (I don't know he or she, being flat chested and under these suits I just figure
He) trying to catch of all things a grass hopper that jumping about his feet. This humored me.
He had what appeared to be a glass sample container in his right hand and a stopper type lid in
the other. He made a strange type of giggle as he finally caught it to the other in the trees
near me. The one in the trees returned to him with a sample jar as well. In it I could
clearly see in the lite that it contained a sprig of an oak tree with leaves and acorns
attached. They were both about 5' tall and lean. This one seemed to suggest to the one with
the grass hopper in the sample jar to include a piece of the alfalfa from this field as well.
Which the other than plucked a piece and kind of kiddishly quickly stuffed it in the sample jar
as not to let the grasshopper escape. I than heard the sound of someone walking through the
field of drying corn just to the south and rear of me. It was a slow steady stumbly type of
walking sound than anyone would make walking through a corn field in the dark. As it approached
it stopped than sped up as it around and by me. Into the lite from the craft appeared another
guy in the same type of suit. He also had a sample jar. The jars were about 4" around and
about 15" tall with wide mouths and black stopper caps. In his jar he had an ear of the field
corn. I laughed to myself at what they had collected. This third arrival came in haste to
point me out to the other two, as he pointed and they all looked directly at me. I could only
smile and wave, than turn slowly and walk back to my home. I was to afraid to run and really
couldn't believe what I had just witnessed. The craft sat silently about 4' of the ground.
Nothing protruded from it except the bright lite from an open bottom. The opening was about 4'
as well around. It seemed to be a small compartment from the rest of the craft. No stairs. I
figured they just hopped out and than would climb back in. They didn't panic as they saw me
for they just stopped and looked at me. I was to afraid to look back as I walked back home.
As I arrived back home, my wife was already in bed with the lights out. I simple removed jacket,
locked the doors, took off my shoes and went down to the bedroom and just jumped in bed. She
asked if I found the spacecraft, looking up I said as I pointed to a shadow in the window
saying, Do you want to see for yourself? Bad idea, I had to move that daxxx trailer.
