Details of Incident:

Glowing Light Seen to North of Two Rivers

Strange lights were spotted early Saturday morning in the sky north and east of Two Rivers.

A Rt. 3, Two Rivers, resident notified Two Rivers police shortly after 5 a.m. that she had been viewing a blue-white light in the sky north of the city. The viewing, she said, had been for at least 30 minutes.

Police officers were sent to the northeast side of the city. They, too, reported seeing a glow in the sky east of Highway 42 towards Lake Michigan. Police also said the light had what looked like a long vapor trail.

Police theorize the light was from a comet that had been announced about a week ago.
