The Lincoln County Sheriff's Department received three reports of unidentified flying
objects (UFOs) in the area Sunday night.
Officers say the first was spotted at 5:10 p.m. near the Gleason area. The witness said the
UFO was shaped like a yardstick and was orange-red in color.
The second reported sighting was at 8:20 p.m. east of Tomahawk near the Kings Dam. The witness
told authorities the UFO was round in shape, red and blue in color, and moved slowly above the treetops.
The third, reported at 8:30 p.m., was bright red in color and reportedly was seen moving above
the treetops near Kings Dam, east of Tomahawk.

Three sightings of unidentified flying objects were reported Sunday night from various areas
of Lincoln County.
A long, narrow object, reddish-orange in color, was reported about half a mile above the ground
in the Gleason area about 5:30 p.m.
At 8:20 p.m. a sighting was reported southeast of Merrill near the county line. The object
was described as about a foot in diameter and a half-mile above the ground. It was red and blue in
color and heading west.
At 8:40 p.m. a sighting east of Tomahawk was reported. The object was said to be bright and
changing from red to yellow to green in color and moving up and down.
Law enforcement officers checked in the vicinity of all three sightings and reported all they saw
was the moon and stars.
