Calumet County authorities are watching an unidentified flying object in the sky.
According to Calumet County Law Enforcement Lieutenant Jeff Williams, the sheriff's department
received an anonymous call at 2 a.m. Thursday that there was a foreign object in the sky.
The object, Williams said, is in the southeast part of the sky, quite high and white like a normal
star, and was moving, but not blinking.
Williams looked through binoculars at the object, but said he couldn't get a good view because of
its distance from him. He was not able to see the object Thursday evening due to cloudy conditions.
"It could be anything, a weather balloon, a UFO, a star, or even an airplane, but it was moving,"
Williams said.
Dale Voskuil, a Chilton High School science teacher, said the object could be a planet.
