Details of Incident:
Myself and approximately 15 others witnessed three lights moving in a triangle shaped formation for
about 5-10 minutes.
Early Sunday morning on 9/5/99, at about 1:30am a large group of friends were camping on a lake in
Northern Wisconsin. It's a very remote area - so much so that we were the only people on the entire
lake. Someone noticed lights in the sky and yelled for the rest of us to come and take a look. About
15 of us left the warmth of the fire to go and see. What we saw were three bright lights, very high in
the sky - and traveling in a triangle shaped formation. They were about as bright as venus gets or
brighter than most all of the surrounding stars. We noticed stars in-between the objects so it
definitely seemed like three distinct crafts. They traveled together, but the shape of the triangle
would change from equilateral, to right, and back again. We watched the objects for about 5-10 minutes
as they traveled in a north to south direction. Nobody had binoculars, so all we could make out was
the bright white glow they made. Based on the height, we guessed the objects must have been very large
though. My brother, holding a flashlight, tried doing the SOS signal to the objects. About 30 seconds
after he started flashing them, the three objects suddenly blinked out and never reappeared.
