While traveling with a friend couple hours ago 3-26-03 at 11:53p.m. heading towards Chicago on 94. It was a Green Light. Shaped like a tear drop with the tail being almost white and the middle a bit of yellow. My friends jaw dropped. She has never seen anything like that. While it was happening I was yelling at her to look for color, size, direction and this is what we both came up with. I think it was either a meteor or a man-made sattelite. I've seen the triangle white light ships around here before (reported earlier last year) and this looked like a natural phenomena as opposed to an UFO. My friend and I agreed that it was heading southeast or coming from the outside towards a 7 or 8 o'clock position.

I am not sure about the above traveling directions. I can picture it in my head but between the object and the atmosphere i could tell there was some "illusion" or "mirage" there. All I know is that it looked like it was coming from the outside heading southeast. The thing was pretty big and it was green shaped like a tear drop with the tail being white and the middle a bit yellow and the tip of the "thing" was pointing up. Apologies if my thoughts aren't clear but I wanted to report it before my mind starts rationalizing.
