We were at our cabin in the country near Westfield, Marquette/Adams county line when at about 10:45pm I heard low-flying fighter jets over the cabin. I went out on the porch to check out this very unusual occurrence for that location and late time of night.

There were many flashing lights flying in tight circles in the sky to the north of the cabin. We have a good view to the horizon north of the cabin. There were so numerous, I couldn't tell how many there were or what they were doing. Some seemed to flash on brightly for a second then off for 2-3 seconds and on again for a second, etc. Very bright flashes. No running lights. Other lights would flash but then turn into bright yellowish orbs. I can't estimate distances but it didn't seem as high as jets normally fly in that area.

This was so odd, I called my husband out to watch, too. We stood on the porch and watched the show for 15 minutes or so. One by one the lights disappeared. I don't know how as there were so many. Eventually, there were only 2 flashing lights left and they sounded like fighter jets. They flew together out of sight over the cabin to the south, then immediately returned and flew to the west and disappeared for the night.

This is the second time we've seen such bright flashing lights flying tight circles in the sky near Westfield. The last time it was in April, 2003. At that time, there was no sound. We are used to hearing occasional fighter jets at our home (during the day) in Madison, but we've never heard this at Westfield and especially at night.

I'm curious to know if that's how fighter jets are lit at night....bright flashing lights, 1 second on and 2-3 seconds off.

UFO Wisconsin Note: Westfield is right in the middle of the VOLK East Military Operation Area. It is possible that what this witness saw was night time military training maneuvers, and the bright yellow orbs could have been after burners. However it is hard to tell without actually seeing what the witness saw. If anyone else saw this or could offer more information, please send an email to: Director @ UFO Wisconsin .com
