On August 15th I also witnessed a very low flying passenger jet. Not a jumbo jet but a business type jet flying over Menomonie. I was driving in town when I thought I heard a low flying fighter jet. I stopped and got out of the car and noticed this small passenger jet flying very low over head. It was flying very fast but as it was going northwest I noticed that it turned quickly and headed back southeast. We don't have any airports in the area that are capable of landing this type of airplane. I thought it was unusual to see this in this area. It was very loud not to mention. But to that family that witnessed a similar thing on the 15th in Southern Wisconsin I think this is related to what they saw.
