Details of Incident:
My wife and I were sitting on our deck talking and enjoying the
cool, clear evening. As we talked I settled back in my chair and stared up at
the stars and watched for a few minutes. Before long I noticed a "point of
light" moving across teh sky from South to the North in a straight line. At
first I thought it was a very high flying plane but there was no noise or signal
lights on it. It also seemed to be moving quite fast for an airplane. As it got
lower on the horizion I caught the movement of another object coming from the
north to the south. These objects were in about 7-10 degrees off each other in
my field of vision<a guess>. I lost he first object but tracked the second and
went for my binoculars. When I viewed with the glasses I could see no running
lights or shapethat would indicate an airplane. Before long my wife saw a third
that was coming from the south, but this time it was changing directions along
its track. It was also moving alot slower and eventua!
lly stopped and restarted several times. The fourth object we both observed was
travelling south to north and seemed to fade in and out. It would be visable as
a point of light for abotu 2-3 seconds.....fade to black for about 2-3 seconds
and back on again. at 11:00 pm the clouds rolled in and that was that. It wasnt
until after we were in the house and getting ready for bedthat we both asked
each other "What in the HELL did we just see?"
Satelites? Planes? Space junk? We'd LOVE an answer, but for now were going to
keep watching.
