Details of Incident:
Well, quite honestly I am shocked right now as I fill this out. I Googled UFO sightings over Eagle River to see if anyone else had seen what we
saw. I was floored to see the exact description of it as seen a couple of years
ago. My friend and I were camping on his family's land near Adam's Lake (Eagle
River, Vilas County, WI) when he shouted for me to look over the tree line.
There we saw two (or possibly three close together) bright green circular
lights. They appeared to be joined, and the rings, I figured, were due to the
brightness of the light.(like staring at a flashlight.) They didn't move much
for about a minute, just hovering at about a 30 degree angle from our
viewpoint.( I tried to pinpoint a distance, but it was hard to concentrate)
They then descended at what I thought was a slow pace on an angle below the
tree line and out of sight. We stayed up until after 6AM, with our cameras now
on our laps, but it did not reappear. The next three nights w!
ere too cloudy to see anything. I am very interested to hear from others who
may have seen anything similar.
