Details of Incident:

Saw a lighted object rise from the ground at a distance, it went straight up about 500 ft or so it seemed, it stood there like a min.  I drove twards it and it stayed there, then all at once it went straight up real fast and I mean fast and it made a 90 degree turn to the left at that fast rate of speed and traveled a few miles it seemed and stopped all at once and just stood there for a few min.and then went straight up at a high speed and disapeired.  The object was round, the color of light was white, no noise, sky was clear, the area hit appeared from was heavily wooded, no homes of farms for miles.
