Details of Incident:
i was sitting out at about
2:30-3:00 am by myself enjoy the stars. i noticed what i at first thought to be
a satellite moving across the sky. i didnt take much interest in the object but
kept watching it as it moved across the sky. what shocked me was that after
about 30 secs of watching it move across the sky it changed directions
sharply...almost a 90 degree angle turn and continued to move in that new
direction. just seconds after that it turned sharply again in the opposite
direction that it had been originally travelling and then after a second or two
shot off at incredible speed and disappeared. needless to say i was quite
surprised and as far as i know no satellite or plane can move anything like what
i saw. it was not much bigger than a star but brighter than the rest out that
night. it was a crystal clear night with no wind.
