Details of Incident:

I was actually looking for meteorites when I saw 6 or 8 very dim lights in a V formation. The lights moved very fast (my calculation - faster than any jet which would have had a deafening roar at the altitude that a military or commercial jet (approximation of size) would have made. At first I thought they may be Canadian geese, but geese usually do not fly at night (having perfect formation at all times). There was nearly a full moon, that is why I thought it could be geese with their white breasts reflecting the glow of the moon, but no honking! My advantage point put the object within sight from 50 feet (my house rooftop to rooftop of house east of alley) to 1,000s of feet at 3-4 hundred feet altitude or miles depending on altitude and size of object/s. This is the first sighting that I have ever encountered in my life. I have reported the sighting to SETI
