About 6:15 from the yard, one very large bright white light or "star" (but 3-4 times the size of a normal bright star) caught our eye in the sky about as high up as the top light of a radio tower. The bright light didnt seem to move. We kept looking at it for a while. After some time-10 minutes or so, it must have been moving very slow as to not seem like it was moving, but it was getting less visible and beyond our view on the horizon. It became visible again when we were up on the road in the car traveling SE. As we needed to reach a destination that evening-we couldnt follow the light any longer- but it remained very bright as long as it was in view from the car.

Another puzzling thing was that besides the large bright light in the sky, in the same area where the bright light was, there were also many-5-6 small blinking objects flying around that a person could at first think were just planes, but were moving around in different directions, at times darting this way and that. Because I couldnt figure out what the big bright "star" was, I wondered if it was a small slice of the moon- except that this night the almost full moon was in the sky towards the north.
