Details of Incident:

On Sat., July 15, 2006 I was driving north on Hwy 26 between Rosendale and Oshkosh. At around 12:45pm I noticed three objects high up in the sky. The objects were not moving at all, which seemed very strange to me given their apparent altitude. The objects appeared as three points in the formation of a triangle, and were shining intermittently - reflecting the sun light as if they were shiny and metallic. Given that the objects were in the sky above farmland and cornfields I thought this was strange. I was driving at about 65 mph on a two-lane highway, and there was a line of cars behind me, so I was trying to concentrate on the road but was also puzzled by these objects. After looking back to the road for a few moments, I looked back at the objects to see that they were now in the formation of a straight line. Still three stationary points, still flashing as if reflecting the sun. By this point, I decided I had to pull over and try to take a photograph. My car then passed a small woods that blocked my view of the objects for about 10-15 seconds. When I had passed the obstructing trees, I looked back in the direction of the objects and they were gone. I kept trying to scan the sky to find them, but I also had to keep my eyes on the road. I decided to pull over and get out of the car and look without the distraction of having to drive. Just before I pulled over, three military helicopters flew overhead coming from the general direction of Oshkosh, and heading into the general direction of where I had seen the objects before disappearing in the distance.

When I reached Oshkosh, I told several friends about what I had seen and one friend confirmed seeing the three military helicopters flying over Oshkosh and heading into the direction of where I saw the objects.

A couple things, first, I am generally a skeptic and this is why i didn't pull over immediately to take pictures. Second, there were dozens of cars on Hwy 26 behind and ahead of me travelling in both directions when I saw the objects. Someone else in those cars must have also seen these objects (at one point I contemplated rolling down my window and pointing up at them to make sure someone else saw them). Third, the three military helicopters arrived less than a minute after my last visual contact with the objects. The pilots in those helicopters must have seen something as well. Assuming that there is a logical explanation for the objects, I would think that the pilots of the helicopters know what it is.
