I got out of bed to use the bathroom. When I returned to my bed (which is adjacent to my bedroom window), a bright light in the low southern sky caught my attention. At first I assumed it was a plane heading in my direction being that it wasnt moving to my left or right. I guess it was the object's brightness and low position in the sky that kept my attention long enough to see if and what type of plane it was.

A few minutes passed and the object had not gotten any closer to me, which is when I realized that it wasn't moving. At that time, I reached for my cell phone which was the only camera I had quick access to. I began recording 15 second clips (15sec. is the max. my phone will record for). It must have been about the same time I started recording that the object began moving east. It moved so slowly that I was able to make seven 15second recordings from 5:44a.m to 5:48a.m and the object only covered a small part of the sky before disappearing. Its hard to explain how it disappeared. I may have lost it in my sights some how but Im pretty sure it was just gone.

The recordings I took reveal the bright light in the sky, the street between my position and the object, a treeline, street light, and in one instance a car driving by. I dont want to make these recordings sound too interesting because they are low quality. They wouldnt be anything that impressed me if I were to view them randomly however, if you know of a way I can transfer the videos from phone to computer or any other way I would be happy to share them.

As far as weather....it was cold and windy. It was cloudy but clear in the lower sky. I guess I would best describe the object as a very bright white ball of light. It was too bright to pick out any defined features.

Shortly after it was gone a plane or jet of some type flew from the north in the direction of the object I saw which was probably just a coincidence.
