My friend claimed that he had seen a UFO at about 10:00 PM, and we all laughed at him. He was scared and extremely convinced. We are all students at a University, so it was completely illogical to most of us. Later that night, at about 11:15, he came running into our dining facility where he wanted us to go outside and observe with him. He was frantic, so we laughed a bit and went outside out of curiousity.
Within 5 minutes we saw something. It was a faint orange/brown and moving across the sky at a fairly rapid pace. It wasn't bright or clear enough to be an airplane, and it was moving in such an awkward manner that we were freaking out. We laughed and screamed and pointed.
We stood outside for the next half an hour, trying to get people to look up at the sky with us, but few people took the time as it was already very late and April Fools. What are the chances, right?
So we saw a lot. And one really freaked me out. It was on the zenith, moving at an extremely slow pace from the West to the East, and you had to turn your eyes away just to see it because it was so faint. It was like a star, but it wasn't a satellite because it was too large and there were too many of them. I was screaming like a madman. It was an ecstasy I've never experienced before.
Only two other people besides myself and two other friends saw it that I know of. But it was amazing. They're all extremely skeptical and refuse to believe it was nothing more than birds. Why? Because at around 12:30 or so, we saw a bird pass close overhead that appeared to be something similar to what we were seeing. But there was something odd that I still couldn't put my finger on.
So I went online today and saw that there was a sighting only two days previous to ours. WTF. I wanted to tell this story because I am convinced that something happened.
