Driving home on Hwy 16 from Portage towards Wisconsin Dells, I and 3 other vehicles, observed 8 lights that appeared to be more like spot lights and nothing like airplane lights. There was either 2 strips of 4 lights or 8 individual lights...very bright. There was no noise coming from these lights. However, after a few short seconds, each strip of 4 lights merged into each other perfectly and then just disappeared. POOF! No noise no motion of direction, nothing. I called my girlfriend and started to tell her about this experience. It had to be about as high as any known aircraft and the lights were at least 25 - 50 feet from each other (my guess, who knows) in perfect sinc and alignment. Perfect!
At this time while on the phone, I was driving towards Hwy B, just crossing the Adams county line, and then all of a sudden, the eight lights appeared again, out of nowhere! Again, they merged and then again they dissapeared. I remember yelling to my girlfriend on the phone "There they are again!" and told her to go to the back deck to see if she could see them. By the time she got to the deck it disappeared again. As I am driving down Hwy B, and just about near a bar called Fish, Fin and Feather, I tried to collect my thoughts and tried to make logic of this....then once again, there it was. And performed exactly as it had minutes before, nothing different. I don't know what the F*** it was, but it was nothing from here, and it was no plane. And if it was, I've never seen nothing like this, and I'm an idiot...but I bet not. THIS WAS WEIRD!!!!!!
