(AREA) – Are Fond du Lac and Dodge Counties becoming the hot spot for
strange sightings this summer? There has been a noticeable increase in
the number of strange lights in the sky, with more than fifty witnesses
claiming they saw strange lights over Dundee in southeastern Fond du
Lac County late last month. Another strange sighting was reported over
Beaver Dam and Mayville in early June. Diane Schwantes says she saw something
in the sky over her Beaver Dam home June 6th…Diana’s husband, Deryl,
filmed the strange object and turned it over to a Dodge County sheriff’s
department…Calls to the sheriff’s department have not been returned.
Jim Aho has been chronicling strange sightings on his website,
w-dash-files-dot-com, since 1997, and says the number of reports
appears to be increasing. Ironically, the sighting this summer comes 25 years
after the most famous sighting over Ripon. Newspapers at the time
reported a strange red light over the quarry on the west side of Ripon
being spotted by police early on the morning of June 25th, 1976. The
light was also reported over Green Lake County, as well as numerous
other sites in eastern Wisconsin.
