MADISON -- Do aliens and UFOs walk -- or fly -- among us in the cheese state?

Yes, and lots of them, according to a new Web site -- UFOWisconsin.com. The site has only been up about a month, but it's already logged several alleged UFO sightings, including a June sighting in Beaver Dam.

UFOWisconsin.com creator John Hoppe says he will be tracking unidentified flying objects by date and county on his site.

"The people of Wisconsin need to know what is going on in their state and their own backyards in regards to the UFO phenomena," Hoppe writes on his site. "We are dedicated to finding out whom or what is behind these phenomena."

His aim is to pinpoint the state's UFO hotspots. He says there could be a military base or an alien underground base somewhere out there.

Even if you haven't seen any UFOs -- yet -- you can hang out with those who have at one of the UFO hangouts listed on the site, such as Benson's Hideaway UFO Headquarters on Highway 67 in Campbellsport. And if you have a UFO hangout of your own, Hoppe will list your information on his site.

This isn't the first Wisconsin UFO site. Oh, no. There are a whole bunch of them out there, such as The W-Files which documents a variety of paranormal activity that's been reported in Wisconsin -- like a guy who says aliens abducted him in Richland Center.
