I was out watching the meteor shower, scanning the sky for any moving objects but noticed a bright light moving through the constellation of Cassiopia in a straight line. At first I thought it was a plane, but it got brighter in intensity like a star and then faded out completely. It also then reappeared a little further down the line at a steady pace, there were no clouds only the milky way so it seemed a bit odd. My sister noticed it too after it reappeared then did the same thing once again. I tried to see if it would show up somewhere else but it was gone. Because it was like a constant light like a plain pretty high up, a white ball light that seemed distinct from either meteors or satellites it seemed pretty noticeable. Both my sister and I commented on what it could be at the time, and I am a average backyard astronomer so it seemed notable.
