It's a very clear starry night. My husband and I were enjoying a campfire when he asked, "Is that an airplane?" as he pointed to the southern sky. We watched the light for a minute or so before it zig-zagged. I said, "It's definitely not an airplane. Maybe it's a meteor." We have seen quite a number of satellites and shooting stars and discussed those options before discounting them. The zig-zagging light was way too low and bright and it was slow moving. It moved slowly, zig-zagging once and a while, from the south-west sky in a south-east direction. I stood and followed it for a moment and it ddisappeared There seemed to be a faint orangy-red glow just as it ddisappeared I called channel Fox Six News to report it. My hope is that someone else saw it and were as perplexed as we were.
