Oct 18, 2001 It was a clear and quiet night. At approximately 10:10 p.m. I was sitting cross-legged on my bed, elbows on windowsill, gazing at the stars. To the right of one of the stars I was looking at a bright light flashed. I thought maybe it was a shooting or falling star but within a second there appeared blinking red lights and they were moving. The lights changed directions rapidly from north to south to finally southwest and the direction of my apartment building. I watched it from the moment I first saw it and when it was close and soon would have gone overhead it vanished from sight. Whatever this was made no sound whatsoever.
